Require Software and Files:-
- 4.82 NOR/NAND Writer
- MiniWeb
- Multiman for 4.82 console
- 4.82 CFW Firmware (Rebug Version)
- Flash.hex format file
Note:- Use MEGA account to download files.
PS3 Jailbreak 4.82 Installer (OFW to CFW)
- Extract all required files.
- Check your system firmware is 4.82 is not then update via USB.
- Plug your USB on your PC. (Make sure it’s the format is FAT32)
- Create a root folder on your USB PS3>UPDATE.
- Rename MinVer to PS3UPDAT.PUP.
- Copy Minver and paste it in the UPDATE folder.
- Plug your USB to PS3 (plugin second port).
- Go to Update>Update via mass storage.
- Version should be 3.56 or lower.
- Delete MinVer from your USB and paste 4.82 CFW.
- Now copy and paste flash.hex file in the USB root folder.
- Copy 4.82 NOR/NAND Writer file
- Paste it under MiniWeb>htdocs folder.
- Run PS3 as an administrator.
- Remember your IP address
- Plug your USB on your PS3 second port.
- Setup the internet connection on your PS3 console.
- Open an internet browser
- Set your MiniWeb IP address as homepage.
- Clear all cookies, cache, search history, and authentications.
- Close the browser and open it again.
- Select index_nor or index_nand. (Check ps3 jailbreak compatibility on the list)
- Click on Initialize Exploitation. (wait for the success message)
- After a success message, you can Path NOR or NAND flash memory.
- Restart your console
- Install CFW firmware via USB.
